I saw this ad, featuring Brains from the Thunderbirds on TV last night and thought it was worth a share. The ad, for Britvic water brand Drench, features the iconic character dancing to the 90’s ‘classic’ Rhythm is a Dancer – and looking like there was more than water in that plastic bottle.
I suppose I could talk about it being a good example of a viral ad (100k+ views on YouTube in various spots, blog posts and websites) but to be honest it’s just funny.
That’s not to say Britvic didn’t intend it to be viral – the slick website complete with links for bloggers (see screenshot) is designed to do just that.

What are your thoughts on the ad? Blatant attempt by a major corporation to go viral or something worthy of sharing – or both?
