Privacy and stuff
Welcome to Really Practical, it's lovely to have you here. Please feel free to test drive our free content marketing tips, case studies and examples by email or RSS feed.
Some stuff worth knowing
What is RSS?
RSS is a format for delivering regularly updated content from places like news sites and blogs. Instead of you having to visit each site every day, the site sends out a feed which your feed reader picks up and displays for you. In our case, you’ll get the title of the post and a few lines from it.
You save time by not needing to visit each site individually and ensure your privacy, by not needing to give your email address.
To use RSS you’ll need an RSS reader. You may already have an RSS reader built in to your web browser but if not there are lots of free ones to choose from. My Yahoo, Bloglines, and Google Reader are popular – and free – web based feed readers.

How often will I get blog updates by email?
If you choose to receive blog updates by email you should expect to get them about once a day on average (we’re pretty busy around here). If you’d prefer not to receive updates by email you should use our RSS feed instead – no email address required.

What about your newsletter?
Our email newsletter is a bit different. Instead of receiving our blog updates (which are available to anyone) you will receive case studies, tips and ideas and detailed How To articles – exclusive to newsletter subscribers. On average we’ll send about 2 per month and you can unsubscribe at any time.
How do I unsubscribe?
To unsubscribe from our email newsletter or blog updates by email, you can simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send you. To stop receiving RSS feeds you can simply turn them off in your RSS reader.
