Write for Really Practical
Really Practical creates content for business blogs and online media projects. To do that effectively, we rely on a growing team of freelance contributors.
Freelance Bloggers, Journalists and Subject Matter Experts
If you are an established blogger, journalist or subject matter expert and would appreciate some extra freelance work, then we’d love to hear from you. The majority of our work tends to focus on entrepreneurship, startups and small business topics but we’re happy to hear from potential freelance contributors in any field.
To apply, simply email Mark Nagurski (mark@reallypractical.com) with the subject line “FREELANCE INQUIRY” . You should include details of your background, areas of interest, kind of work/projects that you are looking for and anything else you think we might need to know. Please include links to at least 3 articles / blog posts that you have written.
Our freelance rates are negotiable, depending on your level of experience / expertise, and we reply to all enquiries.
Internships, Work Placements and Other Opportunities
Getting started in journalism, professional blogging or content writing is about developing your reputation and portfolio. We are happy to consider applications from people who are interested in building those portfolios through guest posts and other unpaid projects.
Please contact us with a little information about yourself, your background and what you are hoping to achieve. If you have any links to previous projects or your own blog, please include these too.
It’s worth bearing in mind that we do not, at present, accept onsite work placements or internships – in other words, your location is not important but this may not be suitable for placements or internships which are a part of a degree course.
Although we do receive quite a few enquiries every week, we will get back to you (promise).
